Abstract—
The proposed harvester features precision sensors for detecting ripe vegetables, automated cutting mechanisms to minimise plant damage, and real-time monitoring systems to ensure optimal operation. By selectively targeting mature produce and reducing human error, the harvester aims to increase yield, improve the quality of harvested vegetables, and significantly reduce waste. Initial testing indicates that the harvester can effectively streamline the harvesting process, leading to enhanced productivity and sustainability in vegetable farming. This development represents a promising advancement in agricultural technology, with the potential to benefit farmers and contribute to more efficient food production systems.
